Chainsawman 10: Aww, I wanted to see the battle of whose dream was more significant, stupid as it is, haha. But the interruption was pretty awesome. I do like how this series parodies other shonen without letting on that it’s parody.

Haikyuu! 338: This was a fantastic chapter. No volleyball, just character work. There was a lot of great humour, like Hinata’s conclusion and what the third years were really thinking about. Then there was a lot of depth, too, like the very common concept of someone in Japan just quitting a sport they were at a top level in at school as soon as they stop being a student, and what effect that might have on Hinata’s spirits. And the fact that he was thinking a bit more deeply about Kageyama was cute too. It was obvious the real Little Giant would show up for this match, but I’m very interested to see what effect he’ll have on the players.
