One Piece 896: bit of an anticlimactic end to the fight. Nice to
see Pekoms again as Nazoms (reminiscent of when Sogeking showed up), and there’s
a fun set-up for the next stage in this story ready.
HunterxHunter 376: Still
not a lot of action, but at least there were some fun scenes with Melody and
Tserriednich. It’s clear Togashi has despite his breaks/breakdowns put a huge
amount of thought into this, but that doesn’t stop it being a bit dull…
Haikyuu! 292: I didn’t think this would transition so well.
After such a long time on one match, this chapter was super-refreshing. The
kids watching themselves on TV was adorable, and some focus on Bokuto was also
great.
Boruto 21: I never think I’ll enjoy Boruto,
but then I do. This kind of strategizing and prediction was what made the early
chapters of Naruto good, so seeing
the same kind of thing here – with some very pretty art – was great.
Dr. Stone 48: after all that explanation of how amazing katana are, they weren’t
very useful in the face of a spear. Still, Ginrou was adorable in this chapter,
and the sabotage at the end was satisfying.
