One Piece 736 was highly enjoyable. There may not be any characters we truly care about in the coliseum any more, but the build-up was extremely fun. DoFlamingo’s realisation that it is not Luffy fighting was very satisfying. The new foe on the last page has more than a little Attack on Titan to his design, which is great. And then there’s the sheer pleasure of seeing Luffy’s ridiculous huge fist coming out of a fish, the ultimate payoff for this silly sneaking-about-in-animal-disguises business.
