Chainsawman 33: I think there’s no plan to this manga at all. A visit to a yakuza
boss who made an interesting point about yakuza protecting Japan from worse
foreign gangsters, thankfully undercut by being confronted with what a shitty
excuse that is to be a criminal, and then the beginning of a large-scale
assault. Very freewheeling.
The Promised Neverland 145: well, the pace just increased dramatically.
Including everyone turning against Norman. I feel like this genius leader
should have been able to keep them on his side somewhat better. And him now
having tuberculosis or whatever tragic illness is a bit too far on the cheesy
side for my liking.
Samurai 8 13: the pacing of so many other Jump series seems to be picking up, but
this one is just all over the place. The battle ended in a flash, now we have
seven clones of the main character (Kishimoto does love clones, which people
like to say is down to him being a twin) and no clear focus for the storyline.
I still find this to be a mess.
