Kuroshitsuji 150: after how extreme and, to my mind, distasteful the manga got at the beginning of this arc, reverting to silly fujoshi-bait is very jarring to me. Doesn’t seem to bother the wider fandom, though. Perhaps I’m just overly sensitive to the idea of elite cultists who rape and kill children being used as a plot device. I don’t feel like I’m too sensitive to it, though.

Chainsawman 17: I guess we’re going to find out there’s some hidden manifest destiny to Denji and the chainsaw dog thing. It’s a bit lame but maybe this series will pull it off. I’m wondering how the characters escape this trap too.
