One Piece 892: Finally this chase sequence is coming to an end. I’m interested what will happen next. Seems like forever since we’ve seen Zoro and co.
HunterxHunter 371: woo, it’s finally back! For how long this time? And yet again, the series perks up in a major way when the Ryodan are involved. Hopefully the boring exposition about these princes has ended and we can get to the chaos. Looks like it all boils down to the Emperor using his kids to prolong his own life anyway – unless that’s going to be subverted. Interesting that there’s an apparent dig at Shueisha in the naming of the gangster families too…
Haikyuu! 287: Hinata is just the best. His blind faith spikes, his ridiculous saves, his eternal frenemy-ship with Kageyama…such a fun manga to read.
The Promised Neverland 72: bit predictable, what was revealed here, and it wasn’t really much of a chapter otherwise. The idea that they need to go back and secure the house they escaped from is a bit overly convenient. But I am curious as to what follows this mini cliffhanger.

Grashros 07: this is a strange manga I decided to pick up. What amazing art on such an ugly subject. And the ostensible hero definitely didn’t fill the expected role. Well, the kid is much more interesting anyway – but what will become of him?

D.Gray-Man 227: A long and confusing confrontation abruptly ended, and now we’re on to something else. This series is a bit of a mess, with all these alternate personalities / former incarnations trapped inside our familiar cast, so hopefully this change will provide a more coherent direction…and not add to the mess. Poor ole Timcampy.

The Promised Neverland 71: The plot thickens! From a rather predictable beginning, this series has started really throwing curveballs, which I like. I wonder who is on the phone for Emma…
One Punch Man (manga) 86: Gah, what an unsatisfying set-up chapter. It’s all very well having this monster organisation built up, but I’d like to see some action with the main cast too, who are actually entertaining.
Dr. Stone 43: So begins the flashback explaining the premise of this manga – possibly. It may not actually explain why the things witnessed here occurred. I wonder how long we’ll be flashing back. The first arc and the characters it spent time developing seem a very long way off now.

Mujirushi 01 – what…the…heck? It’s an Urusawa Naoki / Osomatsu-kun mash-up? What’s going on?? Lol

Dr. Stone 36: Ginrou is so damn cute and culpable!

Kuroshitsuji 133: For a twist that was built up to for years and years (figured out by perceptive fans) the revelation of the true Ceil has been extremely anticlimactic. On the other hand, these flashbacks are super cute and show Toboso actually does know (or has found out) the way a stately home would have to be staffed and run. Nice chapter.

Dr. Stone 32: Awww, Ginrou-kun! He’s my favourite in this manga and it’s nice to see him come through.

Haikyuu! 265: Ohh, targeting poor Pudding. I wonder if they’ll be able to wear him down. As someone whose weakness in sports is stamina, I understand that!
The Promised Neverland 50: pretty nasty imagery for the factory farms, but it’s not unexpected in this world. Interesting little preview of Minerva too. Next time the story has to move on and I’m interested to see where it will go. Norman will probably return before that much longer, too.
Mob Psycho 100 100.7: the best joke here was in the omake, with the two separate tongs. Otherwise, it’s a reunion of old bad guys, now amusingly working in the local conbini. Finally, the arc gets interesting with a showdown promised a couple of arcs ago, though.

One Punch Man (manga) 120: I’m glad I’m not reading this for the first time – what makes this arc good is that it subverts the very generic expectations set up here, but we’re still in the generic part so it comes across as a bit lame. On the other hand, Saitama and King have a great little scene.

One Piece 874: a weird chapter of sun monsters burning tree monsters and Nami blackmailing everybody, but again there was an interesting final twist. I do wonder what happens if the crew escapes, though – what comes next? It is nice to have a situation where the heroes just have no chance but to run, though.
HunterxHunter 367: well, I suppose some progress was made, but that wasn’t a very interesting development of this rather slow arc. I’m not sure where all of this is going, but we’ll need more action soon.

Dr. Stone 22: haha, they made ramen. That’s a pretty cute idea…and makes me want ramen.
