The
Promised Neverland 013: Kind of lost me with this little twist. I’m now much
less sympathetic to a major character and it just doesn’t ring true that Mama’s
had all this information but just acted the way she has. Eh.

One
Piece
843: oh Sanji, that’s not necessary. It doesn’t really ring true that Sanji can
be blackmailed like this, but I suppose it makes sense in a story context. I’d
rather it didn’t come to this, though.
Boruto 006: this chapter
improved this spin-off quite a bit. Not only was it nice to see flashbacks of
Naruto to remind us what this franchise once was (fun and cute), Boruto himself
got to look extremely cute and full of regrets this week, with a truly badass
team assembled at the end. Interesting to see where this will go now.
Haikyuu!
227: the
team is coming together well! But I still don’t feel anything like the
emotional involvement I do with the anime.
Mob
Psycho 100 97.4:looks like we’re going to have a good old-fashioned Mob explosion.
It’s been a while, and hopefully that will quickly put an end to this rather
silly broccoli arc.

One
Punch Man manga 67: great chapter, actually adding depth to several S-rank heroes
that we haven’t seen elsewhere, as well as moving back towards the original
story with Garou’s reappearance. Saitama’s little tournament had some nice
progression, Child Emperor looked absolutely adorable as always, plus Pig God,
Drive Knight and Watch Dog – parallels drawn much more closely to Hachiko this
time – were able to show their abilities much more clearly.

One Piece 842: Luffy’s fight ends in amusing fashion, though I
doubt we’ll see this debu version again, really. Funny, though, and Nami’s evil
face always gets a chuckle.
The Promised Neverland 009: I’m not sure if it was the writer’s instinct or an
intervention from an editor, but a much more interesting development just got
teased for next issue. Good. It’s also intriguing to see the boys might be
plotting darker tactics than optimistic Emma’s.
